Why REAL Liberation?

How did I come up with the acronym of REAL? Restore, Empower, Align, and Love all serve as the foundation and pillars for all of the services provided by my company. In everything I do, I strive to help my clients with each of these areas. Let me explain...

Restore

So many people have been going through it. They have been going through it for years, decades, and even longer. People are dealing with untreated trauma (I consider experiences of racism and discrimination trauma, as well), anxiety, depression, grief, and so many other things. My hope is that working with REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services will help people heal. I want people to leave their experiences with me feeling peace and stability. My desire is to help individuals find joy again or even for the first time in their lives. I want our people to experience restoration and healing after their experiences with REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation services, no matter if they receive 1:1 or group coaching, whether they attend a workshop, speaking engagement, or one of my retreats, I want people to leave their experiences with me better than when they come to me. I want people to feel renewed and restored after working with me.

Empower

Finding your voice and reclaiming your power can be tough, especially when you live in a system that does everything that it can to stifle and oppress you. It takes courage and belief in yourself to speak up. It requires that a person take risks to ask for what you need from the relationships in your life. I hope that through their work with REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services, people can become more comfortable with disrupting those different systems that continue to make them suffer in silence. I want people to feel more comfort and confidence in honoring and expressing their truth, standing firm in their decisions, establishing healthy relationships, and living life on their own terms. Empowerment is essential in your roles as employee, parent, child, partner, friend, sister, brother, employer, leader and we oftentimes silence ourselves to make other people feel more comfortable, and in an effort not “rock the boat”. After working with REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services, I want people to feel empowered to push through their anxiety and fears to make their voice heard. I want people to feel empowered in their relationships, sexually, in the workplace, and when advocating for themselves or other people, and my desire is that people will live empowered lives. I want people to walk in their power and recognize how being silenced and oppressed can have a detrimental impact on their overall quality of life. 

Align

How many people in your life feel stuck in a dead-end job or unhealthy relationship? I am sure that you or someone you know struggle with feeling a sense of purpose or fulfillment in their lives. We struggle with our faith and spirituality, the relationships in our life, careers, and even being true to who we really are. Challenges with alignment can have us wearing a mask day in and day out, and home and in the workplace. Not having a chance to interact and connect with others in a genuine and authentic way can be absolutely exhausting. With REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services, you can work on identifying aspects of your life that do not align with you and your purpose and together we can get you on the path to attaining the peace and balance that you crave. I want people to experience the wholeness and joy that can come with being the true, authentic version of themselves in different settings and to also learn to discern the difference between being guarded and actually listening to their intuition about the relationships in their lives.

Love

 I feel like the word love can be a stand-alone sentence and express everything that I need it to give. My clients should depart from their encounters with REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services feeling loved and cared for. I want people to develop and increase their love of self, flaws and all. Being able to give and receive love freely is not always easy, especially when trauma, loss, and pain are in the equation. It can be difficult to trust and have faith in the idea of love when so much pain has come from people who say that they love you. It can be a challenge to give and receive love when you have experienced abandonment and rejection from people you trust and care about. Self-love can be even more tricky, depending on the messages that you have received about your worth and your “worthiness” of being loved. Love is the ultimate gift and can bring about healing and change. I believe that the work that I do through REAL Liberation Coaching and Consultation Services in the form of life and relationship coaching, speaking, holding retreats and events, and consulting is rooted in love. I love my community, my culture, my people, and the work that I have been blessed to do, and I hope that people feel that love no matter how they encounter me and my company. It is an absolute honor and privilege to support people on their life journey and to provide a safe space for expressing their joy, pain, sadness, and anger. Ultimately, I want people to establish healthy, transformative relationships (with themselves and others) in their lives where love flows freely.
